This is a 4-directions counter, made of cells that I built to make a cursor on a screen. It is modular but slow, 10x10 cells and you could achieve the same result by making 2 bidirectinal counter and one decoder (it would also be way more faster).
You can check the schematic to see what one cell looks like.

There are a total of 3 different inpust:
- First Square (Purple) : If no cell is lit up, you must press the button located at the left of the contraption (You must have no direction selected)
- Directions (Pink) : If 1 cell is lit up, you must choose ONE lever to make it move (if you choose more than one, the cell will multiply).
- +1 (Orange) : When you are ready to move the cell and 1 direction is chosen, press the +1 button to move it.
Note:
- If you press the +1 button while no direction are selected, the "board" (I call the board all the cells together) resets. It's a great way to reset if you accidentaly have more than one cell lit up at once.
- If you try to move the lit up cell outside of the board, it'll just turn off the cell.
- You must wait 2-3 second after you switch levers to press the +1 button. Else, the cells will just turn off.
