Here is a small build that I have recently worked on in in my spare time. Its been a while since my last post and felt it was the time to start posting more projects here. Hopefully you will begin to see more posts from me in the near future!

Bonsai have always fascinated me due to their sheer beauty and the immense amount of patience and time it takes to grow them. I tried to emulate that slightly in the build by hand sculpting the branches and trunk as much as possible and making sure the leaves suited the shape that I intended them to have. I also paid attention to traditional bonsai ideals such as finding an appropriate node for the branches to begin and making sure that the bonsai had sufficient leaf cover but not to the point of it covering most of the tree. The bonsai rests on a small and mossy surface with just enough water to nourish its roots and is planted in a traditionally inspired bonsai pot which is loosely based on more of an ancient oriental bonsai theme.
