Yes! I've done it! My first only one command creation! It's not big, but everything works! You just throw a snowball and a rainbow is created. Use the signs on the machine to destroy the rainbows or the machine itself.

Nice, that is a good thing you use for this, but it's also possible for eggs and enderpearls, but those things also have other effects (spawn baby chickens and tp)

Thanks! It was pretty difficult to find out how to do the signs, but I did it! Actually, it isn't that hard to get help from IJAMinecraft, he ansfers every question!

yeah, the signs are the hardest.  There are all these generators for /give and /blockdata, but no /setblock!  I juts copied it from one of IJA's xD  IJA is the best :)
