A video discussing the build is on my YouTube channel. Sorry about the long wait for this download, I put it off and forgot about it (my bad). Keep in mind that the elevator could break if you call it to multiple floors at once, but the elevator should work in practical single-player situations. It was designed to be flexible in its floor spacing; most elevators require the floors to be spaced a certain number of blocks apart (or a multiple of that number) but this elevator can be manipulated slightly to fit any spacing larger than or equal to that of the example, even if it varies between floors. Details about how to manipulate the build to work for certain floor spacings are included on signs in the world download (I recently made a very slight change to part of the elevator to make this less complicated). If this causes problems, you can still just copy the build as it is. Note that the bottom and top floors need special circuits, as shown in the example. If you have a question about the elevator, feel free to comment on one of my videos or this post and I will try to help.
In all honesty, I'm not exceptionally proud of this elevator, especially following my much bigger chess board project and the popularity of making elevators in Minecraft (In other words, I'm not special for making this, and a lot of people have done it better than me), but it was still a fun project overall. Who knows, maybe I'll try to make a better one someday.
In any case, enjoy the world download!
