About the map:
Relive is a horror map based on the game Observation Duty. The goal of the game is to traverse through different floors using an elevator and escape from floor 100. Each floor has a chance to contain 1 of 60 different anomalies, some subtle, some deadly. The first time you enter floor 1, it won't have an anomaly, so you know what to look for going forward. Every 10 floors, you will receive a checkpoint. Incorrectly guessing whether there’s an anomaly or dying will send you back to your most recent checkpoint. Can you escape floor 100?

Ok so I reached floor 15 and then I failed. But the game doesn't tell you why. Which just feels bad to me.

The idea of checking is everything is there is fun but after 5 minutes it just became tedious to me...

Also, the buttons in the elevator got me confused. The way they are set feels like they either go up or down 1 floor, when they are simply answer buttons

Hey Petoline, I appreciate the feedback! here's what I have to say:

I understand that not knowing what anomaly you missed can seem unfair; however, I like the flow of the game in that you have to have the room memorized to confidently progress, and from experience, I can say that it is very possible to complete all 100 floors without any mistakes. I also realize that I made all these anomalies and have an unfair advantage, so as a compromise I posted a list of all 60 anomalies ranked from obvious, somewhat subtle, subtle, and deadly on the Relive website to help people learn the anomalies without taking away the challenge for people who don't want any hints.

I also get that the game can feel tedious at times. I think that's unavoidable with a game like this. My hope when making it is that there are enough anomalies to keep things interesting, and every couple of floors, you should hopefully see something new to keep you engaged; however, that also is up to chance since everything is completely random and there can be long stretches with no anomalies or repeats.

Lastly, regarding the buttons, my goal was to make it look like an actual elevator to the best of my abilities however, I get that that might get confusing when both the top and bottom buttons make you go up, but I think even if I moved the buttons somewhere else people would still have to do double takes since regular elevators usually don't have buttons in multiple places. Also, there are a few anomalies where you need to be quick to press the button, so I think having them in one place makes those easier, so I'm going to leave the buttons as it is.

I hope with the anomaly list on the website, you're up for giving it another attempt, and if you do, please let me know how it goes and if the list helped!
