About
RPG stands for "roll playing game" , in this world you play a role of a once slain warrior search for revenge against the Herobrine.I have been working on this project for 7-8 months now and i am proud to present to you. The Rise of The Herobrine adventure/rpg map.This map is viable in 1.14+ versions of Minecraft.Although this is the first edition of the map. Patch 1.0.1 and i plan on updating it , i have several ideas for the path this story will take.The Firelands zone is not yet available but will be soon.
You can expect that patch 1.1.0 Into the Firelands will come out soon , stay tuned.
History
Rise of the Herobrine is an extended sequel to my Garden Warfare series , i was debating for a long time if i should release it as the 3rd part but at the end i decided for it to be a separate RPG series.
The story follows John Hawkings the protagonist from Garden Warfare II - Undermine , after the battle with Herobrine's minions you are brought to an Inn by General Arthur , the general of the army in Farwatch Post. There you have been resurrected and given life once again.
Quests
Almost any NPC can be interacted with if they have a sign on them with "-Click to talk-" . They will guide you through the story and give you rewards for task that you complete for them.
Quests are for the main story , at the beginning you will follow simple tasks to get you started. After that you will be free to explore the world and gather items.
Side Quests are just there to provide the player with something else to do. It is recommended that you complete them for better loot and gear.
Dungeon and Raid Quests are task that you can complete a given instance , you can access these instances once you have completed certain tasks beforehand.

Dungeon and Raid Instances
At the release of patch 1.0.1 there are 2 dungeons and 1 raid available.
Tomb of the Spider Queen - in the Barrens
Sorrow Graves - in the Upper Witchwoods
Temple of the Fallen King - in the Forgotten Jungle
Each instance has its respective attunement and dungeon and raid quests.

NPCs
Throughout the world there are a lot of NPCs , some might be Questgivers , Daily quests , Merchants . Mobs , Bosses , Minibosses or Wandering Traders.
Daily Quests
As the name suggests these quests can be completed every minecraft day , they reset in the morning. They are easy to complete and if you are low on gold you could do them for a little while until you can afford better equipment.
Wandering Traders
Every morning daylight sensor will trigger a 33% chance of a Wandering Trader to appear. If you are early in the game and have some materials and money saved up it might be worth checking them out because they sell some of the best items in the game.
Crafting Materials
There are 3 types of primary crafting resources
Sting
Leather
Iron
These resources can be upgraded to tier 2 (T2) and tier 3 (T3)
T2
Bolt of Cloth = x3 Sting
Compact Leather = x5 Leather
Steel = x3 Iron Ingot x1 Flux
T3
Mageweave Cloth = x4 Bolt of Cloth x5 Gold nugget
Refined Leather = x3 Compact Leather x10 Salt
Blood Iron = x1 Steel x3 Fel Blood Drop
NOTE : Please do not be confused by these items , they serve just the same purpose as far as crafting goes , but they are not better in any way shape or form , they are just used for Villager trading.

Professions
There are currently 2 professions available and i personally recommend that you pick them up as you go through the map. You will need to buy the books from merchants and you should get a notification in your chat that your skill has been increased.
Skinning
Apprentice skinning gives you a 33% chance to get a piece of leather when you deliver a killing blow to a mob.
Expert skinning gives you a 40% chance to get a piece of Compact Leather.
Expert skinning gives you a 40% chance to get a piece of Compact Leather.
Mining
Apprentice mining gives you a 25% chance to get a piece of Moonstone.
Expert mining give you a 25% chance to get a piece of Jade.
These gemstones can be traded to a mason for some good items in the early game.

Lock picking
Apprentice lock picking will give you an Apprentice Key that can open locked chests with better loot that usual.
Capital City of Nordshire
This is currently the only "bigger" city in the map . Most of your quests will begin there. The city is full of merchants and profession trainers that can help you obtain better gear.Also there are many chests scattered around so you can check them for loot or materials.
Also the King is in the capital in the Royal Quarter.
Reputation with Nordshire is required to enter all Dungeons and Raids and you also MUST complete them to continue.

List of common bugs
If you can't enter the dungeon/raid then you haven't completed the attunement for it.
If some quests don't take your items try standing closer to the NPC , or you haven't actually completed it , some quests require you to hold the item in your hand so it can be taken or detected.

Recommended Settings
Graphics: Fast
Particles: All/decreased
Render distance: 12+ chunks
Difficulty: Easy/Medium/Hard (never Peacefull it will break the game)
Note: these settings are to run the game as smooth as possible.If your computer can run beyond these settings then feel free to use them.
General Information & Rules
If there are any bugs with the map or something out of order please contact me and i will try to fix it as soon as possible.
Some general rules apply to the map , do not craft items , do not place items unless told to do so , don't kill the villager traders and do not skip zones or quests.

Finally after a year the map has been update and our hero can continue his journey , after defeating the evil Herobrine what will be next for us? I guess we will have to wait and see until the official update comes up
What's New?
Many things have been update including but not limited to:
-New quests
-New zone design
-One new completed zone with a dungeon (Halls of Frost 30+ Level)
-Mobs have been tuned to the right difficulty (The formula you can use is for every level the mob has it gains +2HP and every 5th level it gains +1 Attack and +1 Armor , ex. a level 50 mob has 100HP , 10Attack and 10Armor , while bosses and elite mobs get a boost in all three categories)
-Many bugs have been changed
-Bosses now have their own loot tables and don't rely on dropping items
What's to come?
Completely new experience is about to come to this RPG adventure with the release of the first expansion Skeleton Kings Wrath.
SPOILERS AHEAD BE WARNED!
After betraying the Herobrine in the Temple of the Fallen King , Skeleton King has made a name for himself and by eliminating his only competitor he has traveled to the Nether and is currently residing in his necropolis waiting for new challenges.
Here is a possible list of zone/dungeons/raids that will come with the next update
