The first SS Fürst Bismarck was an ocean liner built in 1890 by AG Vulcan for the Hamburg America Line. A steamship of 8,430 gross register tons, it was assigned to transatlantic crossings between Hamburg, Germany and New York City, United States. Fürst Bismarck and her three sister ships were part of an express fleet that usually made the trip in five to six days.
She was the biggest and fastest of the Augusta-Victoria-Class ships and of all german liners at her time.
While the british Liners City of New York, City of Paris of the Inman Line and the newly built Majestic of the White Star Line, were still bigger and faster, she just became a major thread and strong competition to the british north atlantic domination.
This rebuild version is completely explorable, with 100% of the interior recreated according to the original construction plans and the few photos still existing today.
