You spawn in a treehouse at the top of the Mangrove Swamp. You can start your adventure in the Mangrove swamp, or in the new (1.2) Plains map by pressing the buttons at the start. There are zombies everywhere, but that is no problem for you. Rotten flesh can buy you upgrades and gear in the treehouse shop. You will keep getting more powerful, as you show the zombies who's boss.

With a new biome added to this map, you can now choose between battling zombies in the Mangrove Swamp, or in a Plains world, with caves. Your inventory is the same between both worlds, as you can spawn in either one from the Treehouse lobby.
