Hello there!
Prologue:
I've played on many servers throughout my Minecraft years and noticed how players tend to divide their territory into a build zone, where we build nice buildings and scenery, and an industrial zone, where we build farms to supply for our building projects. The latter, however, is often less organized and appealing, filled with farms awkwardly floating in the sky, and I HATE things that are floating without an apparent reason...Also, why can't an industrial zone look nice and organized or even better, become a cool build by itself?
To answer that, I present to you the HEXFRAME I.D.P., an array of near-futuristic style facilities, first designed as an airborne platform to build farms/builds upon, and later developed into an individual Sci-fi build.
What is this?
The HEXFRAME I.D.P. is an array of platforms providing players with ample building surfaces in the air, and more importantly, a reason for your farms/builds to be airborne in the first place.
With a hexagonal shape, the I.D.P.s are good for tessellation, which means you can tile them indefinitely and arrange them to form shapes of your choice.
With their complex structures combined with versatile swapable components, the I.D.P.s qualify as good builds by themselves. One may find their presence on the horizon intimidating, especially in their militarized formats...Others may wonder what superpower can build such a beast, when they spot it looming above their heads...

Is this survival friendly?
It is!
Although you might be considered as obscenely rich to be able to build even one platform.
Seriously though, you're building something from the anti-gravity era, you should have the corresponding production power :P
Also be glad that we have happy ghasts now, otherwise you'll have some serious construction problems.

This release is actually the second edition of the concept. I came up with this concept back in 2022 and built some smaller prototypes to house some farms.

This is the basic framework of the HEXFRAME I.D.P., a hexagon with a radius of roughly 50 blocks, consists of multiple smaller hexagons as basic units. The center unit functions as the power & control hub, equipped with a level 4 beacon and a functional conduit. Power generated from the center unit is distributed to the entire platform through 6 radiating arms. Six repulsorlift generators are located near the six vertices, providing the platform with anti-gravity forces.
Six slots surround the center unit, swapable units can be placed in the slots.

The six slots are occupied by six standard swapable units, creating a completely flat surface on the top.
The swapable units receive power from the radiating arms of the mainframe, the power will be diverted to the peripherals (if there are any) installed on the swapable units.
The swapable units have peripheral ports on both the top and the bottom side.

In this example, several construction related peripherals are installed.
5 Robotic arms are installed onto the swapable units, 4 on the top side and 1 on the bottom side.
2 Chain lifts are installed directly into the slots.
These peripherals are also included in the map file. Players are encouraged to develop their own peripherals to fit their own requirements.

As with many good industrial platforms in the history, the HEXFRAME I.D.P. provides enough power to be noticed by military agencies.
In this example, several laser cannon peripherals are installed together with several construction peripherals.
These peripherals are also included in the map file. Players are encouraged to develop their own peripherals to fit their own requirements.

In case you want to carry something bigger than 100*100 in the air, or you feel like terrorizing an entire continent by reaping its citizens of their sky, the HEXFRAME I.D.P. has the perfect shape and edge for tessellation, you can tile the platforms indefinitely and arrange them to form shapes of your liking.
To tessellate, move the platform 72 blocks in the x axis, 44 blocks in the z axis.
The edges between 2 tessellated platforms are meant to overlap.

better use "//paste -a" to ignore air blocks thus saving time and computing power.
