Scott Monument | [FREE]

Situated in Edinburgh Scotland Scott Monument, also known as the "Gothic Rocket", is a staple of Victorian Gothic standing at 61m on Princes Street Edinburgh as the world's second largest monument dedicated to any writer (Sir Walter Scott). It started construction in 1840 and took four years to complete with another two before its inauguration into the Edinburgh landscape. Designed by George Meikle Kemp during a competition to design a monument for the late writer after a push due to the cultural significance of his works. Kemp went under the pseudonym "John Morvo" as he was scared his lack of qualifications in the architectural field would render him void from the competition.

The monument features over 60 statues depicting characters from Scott's stories such as "The Heart of Midlothian" and "The Bridge of Lammermoor" which are beautiful mementos to Scott's work. Alongside these, Scott and his dog Maida are featured at the bottom of the monument carved out of one 30 ton contrasting block of marble.

How to use:

If you are using Java, download worldedit with the modloader of your choice and open your instance file go to config > worldedit > schematics and paste the schem file in there

Load up your game and open your world, now type //schem load Xuankong.schem into chat.
The build is loaded, now all you need to do is type //paste -be the tag "be" pastes both biomes and entities.
