Here she is, folks - the first of the Angel Block sky fleet. She was fun to build - I went with a more artistic, flowing style on this one, with hull stabilizers inspired by lynchyinc. She's meant to appear graceful as a diplomatic vessel, but don't be fooled, she can still pack a decent punch in a skirmish.
The Seraph, being an Angel Block Specific ship, is multi-purposed to accommodate all of the daily activities performed by the Angel Block Society members. On board, members are able to access a large engineering workshop where they can "build" their fantastic structures that you see here on PMC. Other amenities include a fully stocked Angel Block Archive Library with detailed schematics and literature pertaining to the professions of building, as well as blueprinting stations all over the ship where new designs can be formatted. Potential recruits have their applications reviewed by the founders in the ABS parliament chamber located on the main deck behind the library.
There is living space for 20+ ABS members on board, and each bedroom comes equipped with standard storage, a workstation, archive file (bookshelf), and blueprinting station (enchantment table). When the ABS members are hungry or need to take a break, a fully stocked galley just forward of the library provides a great place to commune, eat, and share building ideas. For more solitude, two observation pods are located on deck 3 to port and starboard, offering stunning views of the world around for inspiration.
If attacked, the ship is more than capable of defending itself - 34 dedicated broadside cannons, plus 2 hanging rail cannons and a fore cannon is more than enough to deter potential threats. If that's not enough, a R-II Crossbow Ballista turret on the main deck rounds out the package with explosive ordnance.
Each member of the ABS society is granted one of these vessels for their own use, and they are frequently seen traveling together, searching the world for new inspiration and ideas.
