My server, SerenityMC, is holding a spawn design contest for our upcoming 1.9 map. In here I will show my progress of the project. My idea is to have players spawn on a ship coming from some faraway land, to our new world. Upon exiting the ship, a wall with the rules will stand in front of stairs leading up to the next tier of the city. On the bottom tier will be ship docks with crates and small stands set up in bright colors for arriving sailors to buy from. I plan to have three or four very large cargo and/or transport ships, and two or three mid-sized fishing trawlers. Climbing the enormous flight of stairs to the second floor brings you to lower-class houses and small shops with housing in the second floor. On the third tier there will be upper-class buildings, houses, restaurants, etc. On the highest level will be governmental buildings which will house warp boards, the bank with a donor sign, and a train station with large trains each set with a multiverse portal to take you to different maps. (Creative, Previous Map, Game World).
