From my world war two tutorial series, designed by me:

The American M4 Sherman medium tank.  Probably the most well known tank of WW2, this vehicle was made into a variety of different modified versions.

The sherman (first image) in front of the line is just your basic sherman, then we have, from left to right:

 Sherman DD (Duplex Drive) - a sherman fitted with a collapsable canval screen and propellears, allowing it to float in the water, used on D-Day.

 Sherman Dozer - self explanatory.

 Sherman mine flail - used for clearing mines but spinning weights on the end of chains round really fast, detonating mines under the weight of the pounding weights.

Sherman mine roller - similar to the mine flail only with two giant metal rollers on the front.

Sherman calliope - fitted with overhead rocket launchers.
