I've decided to rebuild this whole house because the original was too difficult. I've added a side-by-side comparison with a right side up house and furnished both as well as i could. I used wooden planks instead of a door/ladder in the sideways house because, well, ladders don't do well on the floor and doors cant be placed sideways.

Completely changed the style of the house. Made it more "top heavy" so that it could have fallen over. Also added a non-sideways house to walk around in.
