How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

this is a small game map where u are in silent hill and u just go through the hallways and find your way out.
please for full effect use the texture pack that's in the download.

this is my first custom map so please go easy on rating and feed back

this is a single player save file, the Schematic is the save file.

future updates, expanding into the neather.

install:
1.extract the files too any place u want

2.open up your .minecraft folder located in...
C:Users [username] AppData Roaming .minecraft

3.drag and drop the folders in your .minecraft folder

4.open minecraft and go to texture packs and load the silent hill texture pack

5.play the map
CreditMike_Sz for the texturepack base (more info in the copyrights.txt file)

i added a re spawn room at the entrance of the map, this map will now be worked on with a map editor for big stuff and ingame for small stuff, there are now 2 ppl working on the map and idk how many for the texturepack because i add what i need to it but get it from here:

its really just finished now, im still working on the map but i really

just lost interest in the map (i haven't worked on the save in about a

month). but me and a friend are working on the other world hospital with

pistons and other stuff, but over all i just ran out of ideas. if

ANYONE has any ideas please submit them and ill pick the map up.

of course i woud, but idk if i want to pick this back up or not, i can get a hamachi server up if you would like and we could work on it with some of your ideas, of course u would get creadit if your decide to help.

i currently don't have a premium account for minecraft. so i can't do work in servers. but if you don't want to pick this back up quite just yet you could pm the world file to me and i'll do the other world stuff while i wait to hear from you again to let me know when you want to continue.
