There is a village and a castle. The villagers have 4 simple cannons that light all the fuses for one shot. Their cannons can only shoot 1 TNT. The soldiers have 2 cannons but theirs are more complicated. They can fire 2 shots and you can toy around with the placement of the charges.
These are easy to build cannons that are impossible to accidents with, they are also very powerful. especially the soldier ones. The most expensive item is probably the TNT, b/c you have to kill creepers. Aside from that you just stand on the pressure plate and the rest is automatic. Then you reload, on all the cannons there are conveniently located chest with stacks of TNT.
