Now updated with levers and a new design that pushes you out of the way at the top.

An easy to build elevator that takes up a small amount of room and is a nice addition to any house.

no visible redstone except the pistons.
minimally invasive
mostly underground

Dude this has been very helpful, please make one that stays at levels and you can choose which level you want to go to.

I'm currently working on a three story elevator based on the same basic design idea. (1 piston line going up and down) Unfortunately the complexity increased tenfold so it won't be replicated easily. Expect a post from me about this soon.

hey there is an easy thing that you can do to make it better, put a sideways piston that will push us
forward once at the top (that way we wont need to move forward at the right time)

hey just so you know you can make the one with pushout rideable down, the button up just wont activate the pushout. (thats what i did)
