This is my quick tutorial showing how I made a Cobblestone Generator on my survival server.

To make:

Get a bucket.

Find Lava

Find Water

Build a trench (10 blocks wide)

Put water at one end.

Put lava at very other end. (10 blocks away)


The lava should create a block of Cobble when it hits the water. This infinite. Also, Its natural.

inefficient. here is my way:
1. dig a line of four blocks out of the ground.
2. dig the middle two blocks out from the bottom of the hole.
3. put water on one side and lava on the other. YOU MUST PUT THE WATER DOWN FIRST!
4. mine cobble and go into the water to collect it. you could also mine a holenext to the cobble to collect that way.

Thats actually a pretty good idea. I never thought of making it like that.

I personally only mine the block under the cobble if I'm on smp, because some servers glitch out or lag and cause my lava to kill me.
