This fortress is meant for the king of the wither skeletons. It's build within the pit of a volcano. The fortress emerged out of the molten lava.

It reminds me of Barad Dur from The Lord of the Rings. Nice build !

I find it highly amusing how you have two projects- A really big church, famous for it's beauty and religious significance (The Sagrada Familia) and this fortress of Death and Evil and what-not.

I guess opposites attract or something?

"In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present" haha oh well it was more of that I build the Sagrada first, it literally took me months (didn't had a lot of spare time). After finally finishing the interior with all the white stone and marble slabs (to give it a feeling of holiness when you step into the cathedral). I was so sick of building with the same color spectrum for such a long time. So for my next build I needed something gritty and dark. Im still thinking about how it would look like if there was an evil version of the Sagrada Familia.

For the Skeleton Fortress I've used some of the same techniques for building the Sagrada (towers with gapes in them). I always liked the nether fortresses, the color combination of nether bricks and lava nearby it. So I thought let's improve it by building a proper nether fortress, while still having the same 'macabre' feeling surrounding it.

Thnx Im glad to hear! Well I didn't had plans to make a download available, I will finish the project first then I will decide if Im going to make it available. ;)
