I might not be as skilled as you but still here is some advice (ps not saying this is bad you put great effort into this but here is the effort you might think about in the future :) )
1. Maybe if this is your version of skyblock make it completely different eg maybe a sphere instead of just a normal square.
2. maybe something that allows you to get diamond (e.g maybe an NPC that gives you 1 diamond for 10 gold and also other resources that wouldn't normally be possible to get in skyblock.
3. last but not least quests e.g there might be a spaceship to raid about 400 blocks away from the island (put a sign that says Spaceship this way for a raid) or something else.
Effort like this is alot more than just a couple of blocks and stuff from the chests, make more things possible . :D
