Just curious, but how do you know all these kind of ships you build, with all the detail?
Profession, hobby, research or something else?

Maybe decorating the inner decks with hang-mats and chest for the transport-ware to make it even more realistic?

I just do a lot of research. I usually take about an hour to look through pictures of the ship, then find a reasonable set of plans to work off. This particular galley, like longboats, has only one deck. The space below the deck is filled with gravel, to keep the vessel from capsizing. I may use your idea for the captain's section, at the stern of the ship. Thanks for your comment.
