The History
SMS Hindenburg was the 3rd of the Derfflinger class battlecruisers and was the last capital ship completed by Germany during WWI.
She was laid down about a year and a half later than her sister ships Derfflinger and Lützow and was built to a slightly modified design - she was about 2m longer, used an updated turret design which allowed for higher gun elevation, had considerably more installed power (allowing her to make a slightly higher speed) and had a tripod mast fitted from the outset.
She took a long time to build due to labour shortages and shifting priorities during the war - laid down in 1913 and launched in 1915, it was the middle of 1917 before she was commissioned. As such, she missed most of the major naval engagements of the war. From late 1917 she served as the flagship of the I Scouting Group (taking over from Seydlitz), and was interned in Scapa Flow with much of the rest of the German Fleet after the armistice. When the fleet was scuttled in 1919, Hindenburg holds the distinction of being the last ship to go down.
Her wreck was raised in 1930 and scrapped over the next couple of years.
The Build
Her sister ships Derfflinger and Lützow can be found in Project Jutland. I'm a great admirer of the class and so I felt that I needed to do Hindenburg as well, so I've modified my previous build. As with all my ships, there's no interior.

Since I'm such an admirer of the class, I'm currently working on SMS Derfflinger in 4:1 scale. Nearly done, and it makes these 1:1's look rather clunky! Should hopefully have it up in the next few days.
How describe It's deck? use stair block? O.o
