Introducing SS NORWAY in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the NCL ship SS Norway! This build features her public space interiors.
*This is a converted build of SS France*

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build, some areas may not resemble the actual build. In those circumstances, I have to fictionalize some aspects about the build to "balance out" the build or to allow player interaction.
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).


Short history of the SS Norway
She was initially the 1960 French Liner SS France but was bought by Norwegian Cruise Line and in the early 80s went under extension renovation and refitted to transform her into the SS Norway. She conducted cruises to the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and many more locations. In 1990, two more decks were added to her superstructure in order to modernize her for the adapting cruise market. She continued cruises but her age was starting to show. In May 2003, while docked in Miami, she suffered a boiler explosion that killed 8 crew members and injured more. Soon after she was decommissioned and was sold. In 2006, she was sold to Bridgend Shipping Limited and renamed “Blue Lady” and after some time she arrived in Alang, India, and was broken up in 2008. Marking the end of her 48-year-long life.
