The SS Pearl Lady was built in 1823 for freight and passenger traffic between America and England.
It has sails and a small steam engine.
The Pearl Lady was in service for two years until 1825 when it disappeared. It was found three months later, heavily damaged, drifting in the Bermuda Triangle, without a crew, passengers, and lifeboats. When the ship was searched, only a bloody logbook was found, describing a storm, cannibals, famine, a malfunctioning compass, and severe damage to the engine and masts.
There was an attempt to salvage the Pearl Lady for further investigation, but just before it could leave the Bermuda Triangle, it suddenly sank in the ocean.
As more clues emerged, suggesting a significantly worse catastrophe in the Bermuda Triangle area, it was decided to cover up what had happened. The Pearl Lady took its last secrets into the depths, but it was not the last time it was seen.
Some ships passing through the area reported seeing the silhouette of the ship on the horizon, and when they tried to see more through a telescope, pale sailors were seen aboard staring at the other ships until the ship disappeared into the waves again. Over the decades, the Pearl Lady became a legend that drunken sailors tell in waterfront taverns. Who knows what really happened to her in the year 1825...
