The S.S. Staufen was finished in the middle of the year 1892 and was the third transatlantic passanger liner for the Atlas Linie of the german Kaiserliche Dampfschiffgesellschaft (KDG). She was the second sister ship to the S.S. Salien wich had her maiden voyage in 1890. Her other two sister ships were the S.S. Habsburg (1890) and the S.S. Karollingen (1893).
The S.S. Karollingen was the youngest ship and different in design to her older sisters.
1897 The S.S. Salien hit a cliff near the Irish coast during a storm at her voyage back from America. She sank in no more than 33 minutes and the most of the people on board died without a chance of rescue. The few survivors made it in the life boats and came to the close coast.
The S.S. Staufen is the bigger sister to the D.S. Welfen.
She is a one propellar steam ship with one tripple expansion engine.
The ship is fully fictional!

- Height from keel to top funnel: 60 Blocks
- Width: 33 Blocks

I changed decoration of some areas in the ship, especially of the smoking rooms and the first class main staircase.
