ST Cervia (Originaly Empire Raymond) is a steam Tugboat built at Alexander Hall & Company Limited in Aberdeen Scotland in 1945, she was launched a year later on January 21st 1946, she was completed later that year and handed over to her owners, the British Ministry of War Transport, she was one of the tugs within the "Empire tug" class and was 233 GRT (Gross Registered Tons). she had a beam of 27 feet (8.33 meters), she was 112 feet long (34 meters) and was powered by a tripped expansion oil fired steam engine with one 2 bladed propeller, after her service during the closing of world war 2 and re entering escorting of passengers, she was purchased by the East Kent Maritime Museum and was set up as a small floating museum
