New version of the Map: www.planetminecraft.com/project/geonosis-battle-arena/#comments
This is the Geonosis Arena as seen in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This was the location on the desert planet: Geonosis in which Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker were sentenced to death by the Geonosians using three creatures: The Acklay, Reek and Nexu.
It has always been my favourite scene from the film from when I first saw the film in 2002 when I was little. My admiration for it has stuck with me ever since, I now bring it to you in Minecraft.
I have tried to stay very accurate to the original design by pausing the film itself and working from behinde the scenes footage of the model and a cut-away diagram of the arena from the books.
The number of Porticullis gates along the inner wall of the circle of the arena are all placed as seen in the film along with the guard posts for an accurate representaion of this collosal battleground.
I hope this creation brings you many exciting battles and re-enactments from the film.

Note:
I don't mind if anybody makes videos or reviews with my map but of course please give credit with a link to this page preferably in the description.
If you need to be in creative mode you can change that with programs such as MCEdit. Although there are probably easier ways such as with mods. The default game mode is peacefull.
