Strider Monument

Background:
An exploration team went to visit the nether. Their goal was to catalog all possible creatures. Everything was going well until they reached the portal island. The island was cursed, and surrounded by monsters. They fought against them and won, but half of the villagers died. They then entered the Nether.
When they got there, they were on a floating island, surrounded by lava. Then the worst happened. An aggressive Ghast shot them and destroyed the portal. They had no way of getting out of there. However, they saw a portal in the sea of ​​lava, unfortunately they had no way to get there.
They thought they were going to die there, they only had Warped Fungus for food, and they didn't even know if it was poisonous or not.
However, they saw Striders eating the Fungus, so they attracted the Striders' attention to the island. One by one they putput saddle in Striders and went to the Overworld. The captain was the last to return.
On the way back to the portal, a Ghast shot a fireball at the captain. He jumped at the last moment on the portal, but the captain's Strider died.
A few years later, the captain returned to the Nether and built a Monument to his Strider, Sir Strider IV.
