Long time, no post.

So I made an exact 10 times scale model of a Sukhoi Su-27. This is my favourite aircraft, and maybe favourite anything, ever. It is, to me, the most beautiful object ever created. It doesn't really fit with the Hippodrome or the Hanging Gardens behind it though.

The aircraft was developed in the 1970s and early 80s as the Soviet air force's heavy fighter, a direct counter to the American McDonnell Douglas F-15. Since entering service, innumerable variants have been developed, including a naval fighter, bomber and super maneuverable prototypes, and are still being produced today, 40 years after it first entered service.
