The Slokovian Airship Fleet was booming with fighter designs and soon gained many tactical advantages over their surrounding nations when it came to fighters. They had amassed a significant fleet in merely five months thanks to the developments of master weapons designers Aldon Helan and Henry Geolovich combined with Vincent Nord. They were sastified with their contributions until they realized that none of their fighters had any significant armor that could properly withstand aa fire gun barrages. They then set to work on developing submersible interceptor design that was completely impervious to aa guns from the frontal arc. They replicated the same ballast tank armor as they mounted on their first submersible fighter design except for making it many times more sturdy than the last attempt. They were nearly finished with the design, but a major flaw soon was discovered: The fact that the torpedoes on the aircraft were completely exposed and had no protection due to the fact that they would explode if any armor was mounted in front of them and they were launched with the armor still attached. Aldon soon worked around this issue by implementing a removable button on the front of the torpedo that would be broken by a piston mechanism before launch. They then presented their new Submersible Armored Interceptor design to the Slokovian Airship Fleet where it entered mass production. The fleet soon amassed enough variety and number of fighters to match and exceed the vast fighter division of the Silver Empire. With the fighter dilemma finally overcome, the designers could finally advance to the warships that the Slokovian Airship Fleet desparately required.
