A botany cargo ship is sailing along in the great ocean, when the natural gasses that power the beast begin to flood the ship in an unfortunate error of design. You grab everything you can. A lily pad, some dirt, 5 saplings, more than a handful of bonemeal, and some stone before the mighty barge splits in two in a large explosion, and you are launched high in the air. You eventually land far away from where you were, in the middle of the ocean, stranded and lost. With what little you have, is there even hope of survival? If you are creative, tough, and have enough survival instinct, the answer may be 'yes'.

What do I need to do to set this up?
-World must be a customized world, and the biome set to "Ocean" or "Deep Ocean"
-World must have a structures folder
What does this add?
-Items now float in water, albeit glitchy.
-You now sink slightly more that usual in water when swimming
-10 achievements to achieve (Maybe more in the future)
-Edible sea life
-Dangerous sea life
How do I install this?
This is a completely vanilla project, and if your world has a structures folder, this won't be too complicated.
1) Navigate to your Minecraft saves folder
2) Open the world which you have customized
3) Place the file Sufferaft.nbt into your structures folder
4) Type in the command "/give @p structure_block"
5) Place the block, navigate to the load section, and type in the name, and press load
6) There should be a loading box set (MAKE SURE IT IS IN THE WORLD SPAWN CHUNKS) press load again to confirm
7) The challenge will start immediately. There's no button to start, so be ready.

You have a keen eye if you noticed some similarities to not only other maps, but even modpacks, and other games as well! I’d say my 3 main sources of inspiration were the Sink Into Madness mod pack, Skyblock, as well as the game Subnautica. You should check all of these out if you haven’t already.
I want to play this with my friends! Is that possible?
All of the commands are designed with multiplayer in mind. Each player gets 1 set of starting resources, though. This can mean either camaraderie, or competition. All achievements are done as a group, but achieved individually. Only one player has to do the challenge, and everyone else gets locked out. Again, This is intended to be like a group effort, or a rush to achieve more.

How do I start?

I keep dying at the very beginning!
Based on the lore, you will start high in the air, and fall into the water. Hold space while you fall, and surface with hopefully no health lost. Place the lily pad on the surface of the water, and place a dirt block under it, and go on top of it. Build up dirt blocks around it, and make a platform to stand on.
How do I get my first resources?
Grow a tree in the middle of your dirt, and hopefully you'll get some saplings too. You don't need to worry about making a sapling catching platform, because they will just float in the water. Collect as many as possible, and make a crafting table. Create wooden half slabs to save on wood, and get to expanding.
What about stone and ores?
Once you have a sizable raft with all the essentials, it’s time to go to the ocean floor. Use either torches for temporary air pockets, or fences to set up permanent tunnels to the depths. Zombies may drop iron on occasion, but this won’t be enough to be sustainable. Find an underwater cave, or begin digging a hole to get resources.
