PLOT: Inside Bowser's Castle, the King of the Koopas is, well, reeeeally angry. "GRAAA!!! That stupid Mario and his dumb brother Green 'Stache!" An onlooking Goomba adds, "Don't forget Yoshi and Wario!" "ROOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!" Bowser roars, shaking the whole castle. "Hey Dad! Maybe you should take a walk by Shroom' Ridge!" His son, Bowser Jr. suggests. "Grr..well, sure. But only 'cause my son told me to!" As stomps along the path, a meteorite crashes down nearby. "GRWHA?!" He shouts, startled. Running forward to investigate, something seems to enter inside him. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" He shouts. His horns and spikes start to glow, along with his eyes. Something awful has happened, but what?
NOTE: Look through the pictures. They show some parts that could be helpful to remember about when the map comes out.
"Super Mario: When A Clown Returned," is the invention of me, PinkYoshi64! Remember, this is a WORK IN PROGRESS, so it is not at all done. You have the option to play as four different characters, each with their own ability and defense. WARNING: You have to pick an ability/character, because, in order to progress in the map, two-block high jumps are necessary.
Mario: With the best defense, easy controlling, and an awesome 'stache, you can't go wrong with Mario.
Luigi: Extra speed and a whopping four-block high jump makes Luigi ideal for those who like fast paced running. (Or retreating.) He has second-best defense.
Wario: Mr. Greed himself, Wario brings slow moving and low defense to the team. However, he boasts extra attack to make up for it.
Yoshi: Yoshi is unique. No gameplay differences, but picture this: You're on a cliff, a baddie down below. You shoot out your tongue, snagging your enemy and flinging it into the air. It shoots up, only to fall back down and die. Yoshi also has an arsenal of eggs at his disposal to fling at enemies to heed their approach.
Toad Town is the central hub of the game. It provides passage to many other towns and villages. It houses a character-changing shop, an inn, TTS, or Toad Town Store, and your first boss.
The map will take a long time, but be patient! It will come.
