I have sent a request to Aniplex asking for copyright permissions. I want to play it safe, and will adjust to their decision.

This is a solo-project build that i've been working on: Recreating the SAO world into minecraft. This might not be an open server (going to research the copyrights and i'll adjust accordingly) I am building in is a Spoutcraft server for myself just for fun. It contains many aspects of the real anime/manga although somewhat modified, or added onto to create a real RPG element, while being heavily based upon SAO.

I'll try to update on my progress at least once a week. Check the log for specific updates.

If you have any ideas or suggestions I would love to hear them ! If I decide to incorporate it somehow I will credit you for the idea.

I'd want to feature it in a video and I would definately ask permission from the original creators if I could use this. It'd be really cool to play on <3 I really hope they let you post it and if they do I hope they let me use it so I can feature it. XDD

SAO is quickly climbing my list as Favorite All-Time Anime. It's got a strong competitor -- being Full Metal Alchemist-- but I love it so far. If from what I gather of this server is going to be true.... You're going to try to re-create Aincrad in Minecraft, and try to mimic the weapons, items, skills, and attributes referenced in the anime....You're going to need a lot of help

Or a completely sociopathic nutcase who happens to be a genius programmer CEO of a highly successful Game Development corporation.
