A small (500x500) world created for a server I build in, using WorldPainter.
I liked how it turned out so I am uploading it for others that may like the idea of building on these tepuys.
Probably a city with bridges connecting them and some houses hanging on the walls, as that is the main use I work around.
The inside of the tepuys are filled with big caves, I am unaware if thats worldpainter's natural generation of the underground, or me messing something up when building them. Either way, they add some flavor to the land.
Surrounding jungle that rings the mesas is DENSE, I cannot guarantee its traversable in survival. This world was built with creative in mind.
Top of the tepuys is at y:190 or so to allow some height for construction, while still being tall enough to be imposing.
Based on the tepuys of my country, but compressed into smaller scales for the sake of not pushing the server world file too far.

If I had to actually make a tepuy I would use much more noise on top. :P
I made the trees using a solid brush and the 'populate' setting (or was it the biome one... I think it was populate, but it could be this one), since I used a brush intended for terrain sculpting, I got a really dense jungle.
My tip would be to test several intensities and brushes until you find one you like.
