TEROR
Located in the mid region of the island of Gran Canaria, It's one of the most important religious centers on the island and in the archipelago, due to the advocation of Our Lady of the Pine (Nuestra Señora del Pino). It first appeared on 8th September, 1481 and it was vinculated to a mystic pine tree from where the original statue of the Virgin Mary came. The current image is from the 30's decade of the 16th century and the present church (established as Minor Basilica by Pope Benedict XV in 1916) was inaugurated on 28th august, 1767.
This project is meant to be a 1:1 scale, but some of the squares could be deformed and some of the buildings could be made by switching classic build mode and the diagonal one. Nevertheless, the idea is making the main squares and historical (and not-historical) structures like the basilica or the old houses from 17th and 18th centuries, keeping as much as possible the zone's relief with a smooth descent towards the streets and the sutile inclination of the plaza and the church.
