This is my best, most complex, most advanced Minecraft map in my over two years of creating terrains.

The map is Terra Arcanus, the capstone of my 3-map collection of terrains, the others being Terra Celestis and Terra Astralis.

It has 6 biomes: Snowy mountains, mesa, diorite canyon, oak forest, pine/spruce forest, and plains.



On top of that, it has other features to make the overall terrain better, such as ultra-realistic snow, lakes, a winding river spanning about 3,000 blocks in length, and sediment deposits.



Terra Arcanus also has my best biome transitions yet, a significant improvement from my last multibiome, Terra Celestis. It also has some of my best texturing work, with non-repeating mesa patterns and different stone materials throughout the map.



It also takes the realism of Terra Astralis, and takes it up to the next level, with even more realistic snow, better ridge carving, better peak formation, superior foothills, and (in my opinion) equal or better strata and rock detailing.
