Welcome to the demo release of The Backrooms: Entity Breach!

Note: the resourcepack has a rudimentary VHS overlay effect when you set your Graphics to "Fabulous!", if you want to use your own shader just go in the resourcepack file and delete the shader files

How to play
All the information you need is found in the provided YouTube video!
Basic Info:
-To start the game you right click the door infront of you
-The rooms will be randomly generated and generate as you go
-Rooms far enough will get un-generated
-Places you go back to are never the same
-It will infinitely generate
-To "win" you must survive till the 10 minute mark, the exit will now be able to generate and you must find it

Entities

Mouth - The monstrous devourer
Mechanics:

-Slowly wanders around the backrooms
-Has directional vision which can see upto 30 blocks ahead
-Can hear running and jumping within 10 blocks radius and will investigate
-Can hear walking within 5 blocks radius and investigate
-When a player is spotted, roars really loud before chasing
-Has extreme speed when chasing, sprint jumping is a must
-Devours the player upon catching them, insta kill

Eyes - The sensitive watcher
Mechanics:

-Stalks the nearest player
-Stops to stare at them
-Looking directly at Eyes agitates them
-Will screech and charge at the player when agitated
-Does a claw slash attack, 5 damage
-If the player happens to be facing Eyes when they do the slash attack, it will cause partial blindness (darkness effect) and make their left eye bleed
-If triggered again and slashed facing Eyes again, it will blind the right eye and cause total blindness (blindness effect)
-Totally blind players can not trigger Eyes anymore
-If a player has low enough health and they agitate Eyes, they will do a kill animation of gouging the player's eyes

Body - The headless mannequin
Mechanics:

-Follows the nearest player no matter where they are
-Will not move when in vision of a player
-Will creep closer when not in vision of a player
-Does random poses every time you look back at it
-Can only kill a player when their back is turned
-Moves almost the same pace as a walking player
-Decapitates a player when it gets the chance, insta kill
-When it decapitates a player, it will now use their head and becomes passive and follow other players around

Brain - The parasitic brain
Mechanics:

-Always knows where the nearest player is
-Slowly but surely approaches the player
-Plays static noise within a 10 block radius
-Players within 6 blocks radius get darkness effect and slowness 1 effect
-Players within 4 blocks radius get blindness effect and slowness 2 effect
-Players within 2.5 blocks radius get 1 damage per second
-If a player has low enough health, Brain enters their body and assumes control of the player's body and use it to kill any other players, the possessed player isn't actually dead but can hopelessly watch as they kill their own friends/family/co-workers


Player Mechanics
-Hunger bar is now the ""stamina bar", it will go down from constant walking and even faster when running
-To refill the bar, you must "rest" by simply crouching and wait till you hear a ding sound, your stamina should recharge up
-Standing still while crouching speeds this process up aswell
-Whenever you've fully rested, you get a short speed boost upon immediate walking or running, cloud particles will pop up when this triggers
-Players can make "noises" by running, jumping, and walking, some entities might be able to hear this and investigate
-There is no way of regenerating lost health points, just be careful
-Players can still hit other players, but is it worth it?
-Players can not fight back the entities

Future plans and full release
Planned out entities (NOT FINALIZED):
"Ears" = No vision, but enhanced hearing capabilities

"Arms" = Punches down walls to get to the player, grabs them and chokes them, players can mash left click to escape the grapple

"Legs" = Charges in a straight line when spotting a player, busts down walls in it's way

"Neck" = Cannot see standing still players, long neck that can rotate 360 degrees to check it's surroundings

"Nose" = Can smell the player within 10 blocks around them, doesn't rest after attacking

"Heart" = Does not move and hangs on the ceiling, spawns blood minions to chase players, when a blood minion get near a player it will explode and do no damage but apply a "blood scent" effect, players with this effect will now be smelled by all entities within 10 blocks radius, Nose gets to smell this player from 20 blocks away

"Fingers" = Crawls on the ceiling instead, doesn't make any sound at all, actually tries to be stealthy

"Feet" = Completely invisible, but has visible and very loud footsteps

"Hands" = Breaks lights around it's vicinity, slowly drags players into the darkness, can be resisted by trying to move away from it, drags faster the darker it is

"Face" = Serves absolutley no danger, but to occasionally jumpscare the player in hopes it screws their attention and focus up

"Tounge" = Has no sight, hearing, and smelling senses, quickly moves around the rooms waving it's tounge around, when a player touches it's tounge it will wrap around the player and start pulling them into it's mouth, players can mash left click to escape the bind

Full release?
I will do the full release once I've made all the entities I want and can make (depending if starts to get too laggy or not) and also apply some possible game modes, extras, and maybe secrets and easter-eggs.

Note: If you happen to not spawn in Adventure Mode then kindly set yourself to Adventure Mode, The entities will only attack adventure mode players. If you happen to get a bad generation and get an enclosed space, just do /kill and redo the run :P

Added a video to showcase all death animations of my map!

Backstage Update (means it's an update that isn't uploaded but happened in the background):
Reworked the room generation:
-Reworked room tile sets
-Added new generations by time
-Added Cross rooms
-Added Hallways
-Added Pitfalls
-Reworked Exit to be embedded to a wall instead of having four faces

You should make it so that every time a round starts it puts you in a loading screen while it generates the map and once you die it de-generates the map
