Welcome to your future home! The Blue Lakes Residence is a large
home with plenty of rooms and a garage for two cars. With a pretty blue
facade and large windows, it strikes a beautiful tall profile among
other homes, boasting spacious rooms and a beautiful atrium.

Introduction:
In order to decorate this house I wanted to create something radical, different, but without going far away from something traditional or classic, and also I didn't want to change the style of the house. I took several decorating ideas and different styles, but compatible. Since the house is not so new, I decided to combine the traditional construction with the modern decoration.

Starting:
My first impression when I entered the house, was that the construction was amazing, but there was a lot of space that I could use for better. That is why I removed the stairs, and several walls, and done that, I started decorating the house.

Stairs:
The house had pink and white interior walls, because of that I've decided to make an elegant staircase with wood. the design was simple, but efficient, it also allowed me to make it wider.

Living room:
Since I moved the staircase, I had more space to use in the living room. I changed a little bit the esthetic of the fireplace, and added a modern TV with a fancy sofa. In the back of the room, you can also see a piano. The main staircase, was put in the other room. there I build a table with chairs, and some bookshelves with several plants, in order to make the room cozier. 

Kitchen:
Everyone loves having a big kitchen with a lot of space to cook. Honestly, it was the hardest part of the design of this house. Normally, the people tend to have the kitchen close to where they eat (nobody likes to have to walk a lot in order to just have dinner or lunch) so I put two doors in the kitchen. The decoration combines white with light-browned wood.

Bathroom:
The original design had 2 small bathrooms, after seeing the size of them, I've decided to make 1, but bigger.

Rooms:
Going on with the symmetry, I made 2 bedrooms upstairs, with completely different styles each one. the first one, with white and traditional furniture, and the second one, with more plants and wooden furniture, also with a computer.

Garage and basement:
Beginning with the basement, I made my dream come true. Starting with a lot of arcade machines, and finishing with a small homemade cinema, the basement has everything to make you feel comfortable.
The garage, in the other hand, is a place to work, to make a lot of things using your hands, that is why I made a lot of shelves and tools. And of course a sports car was needed to complete it.
