The Bread and Blade Inn is a fairly large inn that is found in the world that I am currently creating. Upon the world's completion (or at least once there is enough of it finished) I plan to use it as the world for an Adventure/PvP/Factions/etc. server that I hope to set up. I'll probably be posting other structures and locations from the world as I continue to work on it.Bread and Blade is one of the first locations that new players will find themselves at, and I may use it as the spawn point for new players entering the world/server.
Upon entering the inn players find themselves in a gathering hall with a bar and a large table area. On the table will be cakes that will be edible and regenerated every now and then. Behind the bar will be a villager selling various food items. In the next room over is another shop area with two villagers, where players will be able to purchase basic iron tools and armor. (I plan to have the server run with an emerald-based economy, but I'm still working out the details).
In this room, there is a door that leads to the Iron Level rooms, which players will be able to rent for a certain duration of time to live in. They are fairly small and not too pricey. Back in the room with the weapon/tool shops, there is another door that leads outside and upstairs to the second floor of the inn, where the Gold Level rooms are located, as well as the Diamond suite. The Gold rooms are significantly better than the Iron rooms, and are therefore more expensive. The Diamond suite is extremely expensive and is the dwelling place of the owner of the entire inn. The Diamond suite is one of the things I still need to finish to complete the inn. When it's finished, the Diamond suite will consist of 4 separate rooms, each a decent size and filled with useful things.
Outside the inn is a large fountain and some basic exterior decoration. I may add more to the landscape after I finish the interior. I'm also planning to add some stables nearby where players can purchase a horse. I might upload that separately, or just add it to this project.
I use the OzoCraft resource pack quite often, but I'll upload pictures in mostly Default textures. I also apologize if they are poor quality...I can't seem to get a shaders mod working to make everything look all pretty. They also may seem a little dark, since my brightness is on "Moody", but with full brightness they are well-lit.
Let me know what you think, and feel free to give me suggestions. I appreciate any constructive ideas you are willing to share.
