DISCONTINUED.
I am discontinuing this version of the city of romecraft due to 1.8. Do not cry, however, because I am now saving each building into schematics and relocating to a 1.8 compatible map. The City of Romecraft V2, then, will probably have a better layout and easier to finish.
Unfortunately this means I have to start my wall all over again.
And I hope I don't put it into a snow biome..
New Project, City of Romecraft Version II:
http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/the-city-of-romecraft---version-2/
Though not even close to release, here is the city behind my texture mod, ROMECRAFT.
Built, designed, and decorated by Stugace, H07Hawk and the Romecraft Team.
Due to the sheer size and demand of the project (and not wanting to spend 3 years on it) we have used Voxelsniper recently to help us clear land, thus the sharp edges on the base of the palace! However almost 90% of the project was done by "hand" using only mod controls to supply us with material. The Pantheon, for instance, was built by 'hand' using a crap-ton of dirt scaffolding! Since the first little temple was built, we have been working on this city continuously for 4 months (started early December).
Don't forget to see the Colosseum also being built, which has its own project post!

This map was lost in the death of my laptop and the loss of my backup flashdrive.
Luckily the City of Romecraft V2 is still in existence, as well as all the buildings associated with the original!
