Hey there,
As some of you may know, we've recently done a Build Battle against the almighty Gazamo.
The rules were simple. 3 people on each side over a span of 48 hours. Theme choice and judging was done by DeepAcademy.
The theme was set at: Dictatorship!
So, with that in mind we came up with this. A throne. But no ordinary throne....
This throne is constructed out of many buildings ranging from early 1900's shops and high-rises to buildings you could expect to be built today and even in the future. We did this to represent that dictatorship isn't an issue of our time, but of all times.
The buildings our dictator sits on -lets call him Donald for now- are small appartments which would be inhabited by the poor, while his seat backing is all made up of rich, tall structures to show that he's supported by the wealthy corporations and people.
The area around Donald's throne was once pristine but we've chosen to depict it as the homes of those that once defied him. His foot is just finishing up with that.
