The world is fully playable (includes ores, trees, etc). Elevation has been scaled to fit the constraints of a Minecraft world. Sea level was adjusted to 40 blocks which puts Mt. Everest at 121 blocks high. The Earth was generated with various images from NASA (including landmass, satellite, elevation, and vegetation maps) using a custom python script incorporating codewarrioro s pymclevel python library.
After receiving suggestions for ways to make the Earth better, we decided to make some updates. Our changes are as follows:
Added Rivers
Added Ocean Topography
Added Caves
Ores Appear in Clumps
Created Different Spawns
Added City Signs
Fixed various bugs (Anarctica, Sand/Grass Mix, etc)

For this world there are two downloads: a single-player and a multi-player version. The only difference between the two is that the SSP world includes bed and signs while the SMP world does not. These are at various cities that will allow you to not only see where you are, but also set your spawn.
SSP: Included in the "world" folder is a "spawns" folder with city folders inside. Before you play, copy/paste the "level.dat" from a city folder into the "world" folder, replacing the original level.dat. When you start up be sure to sleep in your bed, otherwise you may glitch upon respawning.

I need your help, please.
I had the same idea like u to generate a MAP like the world, and i got it.
But because i have no coding skills i used the hightmap slized it and made smale maps which i importet to a flatland map, so i got after about 5Months a Map which is 4times bigger (or 16 times bigger in area) ((21600*4) *(10800*4)) as yours, but realy UGLY!!!!
Do u know a Method to expand your map or can u script anything? Because we are building about an half year on this map and now for example our Berlin is so huge like your Germany. And im realy realy want to have your map!
