We are building an amusement park for an event we're calling A Day in the Park. On that day, all new players will be able to have a day of fun exploring the Fair Grounds. We haven't picked a day for this event yet, but we will make an announcement when it's ready. Until that time, we will continue building the park. We will be opening up the build project to Citizens of MineConomy so that they can build their own rides and attractions as an additional source of income for them. Rides and attractions may cost some coin, but there will be plenty of opportunities to earn some as well through various means.
This project page will serve as an index to each of the sub-projects we are working on for the Fair Grounds.

Mansion of Mystery Project Page

The Mansion of Mystery is an exciting cart ride bringing you through the depths of an old church. This roughly 4 minute thrill ride starts off gently, giving you a tour of the original rooms of the church's main floors. The further you go into the depths of the building, the more bewildering it becomes. Confusion sets in as you eyes are tricked.

The Kiddie Rollercoaster is a small rollercoaster safe for the youngins. No one will be loosing their lunch here. This small coaster will take you around the track twice before self parking. Remember, keep your hands in the cart at all times, and don't exit the vehicle until the ride comes to a complete stop :)

This is a Minecraft representation of the swinging boat ride found at most amusement parks. Instead of having the actual boat swing back and forth (as that would be impossible without something like movecraft), a cart goes back and forth bringing you through the belly of the ship out to the tops.

The Nether Fight Arena is a challenging battle against the Wither in an appropriate setting! The fighting hall is long and lined with two levels of balcony containing different vantage points and allowing for multiple strategies. The arena and classes cater to a social experience as players will find they are more successful as a team! If you're looking for an exciting mob fighting experience, then you will surely be happy with this arena!

The Fair Grounds Park Raceway is a custom built thoroughbred racetrack complete with a grand entrance, clubhouse, stables, and stadium. This sporting complex is located in the Fair Grounds amusement park at MineConomy and offers our players the opportunity to compete in timed horse races using the Race Tournaments plugin. The track is roughly 300 meters long and the race takes roughly one minute from start to finish. The Clubhouse will contain slot machines for the gambling types and a lounge if you just want to relax. The stadium offers a perfect view of the entire track so you'll never miss a turn.

The Chess Stadium is a massive stadium we are using for chess tournaments. There are 4 large chess boards for simultaneous chess matches. Once the Fair Grounds is open, we will post a sign up sheet for those that are interested in showing off their skills ;)
