The Gothic Penthouse

The Gothic Penthouse is an elegant and antique penthouse lavished with a vast amount of history. The penthouse was first built in the 1.3 century during the renaissance period and used as a catholic cathedral. 

In the 1.6 century, during the creeper invasion of 1.6.4 – 1.6.6 it was used as a hospital for the injured and sick as most of the hospitals were destroyed in the beginning. The cathedral was unknown to the enemies until one of the monks betrayed the location in exchange for money. This resulted in an Explosion causing the death of 153 villagers, death of 1 iron golem and 132 infants were severely injured and most died shortly after due to not reaching help in time. The building had a less worse fate and only parts were destroyed.

It is said that the 153 dead villagers haunt the premise killing anyone who dares set foot on it, creeper or not. At night screams and wails can be heard from the site and at day random mysterious sights have been recorded and unexplained. 

In the 1.7 century it was renovated into a hotel during the reconstruction of the town to try and attract more tourists. But failed in doing so because every resident that stayed in the penthouse they met an unfortunate fate, only one person has survived the penthouse but was severely paralyzed.

Nowadays it is rarely rented out in fear of another accident. Hover Steve is fearless and claims he will not be harmed. Only time can tell whether Steve will survive.
