Howdy!
For quite some time now, I've been wanting to undertake a project of epic proportions, but I've never really had enough inspiration. Today, however, I've started a project that will span weeks, if not months, and lead to the creations of at least a dozen cities! Me being me, I couldn't simply build one underground city, and leave it at that, oh no... I'm creating an entire chain of underground cities! I plan for there to be one or two surface cities and an underwater one too, but the majority will be underground. I hope you can find a use for this map, maybe as a roleplaying server?

I and a couple of builders are currently working on it on a Hamachi server I set up. If you have a server that could host it 24/7 for us, we'd undoubtedly get more builders, and be able to move faster!

For now, though, we've only got the very start of our first city, Felspoon, underway. It's an amazing start, though, in my opinion - from concept to completion, the surface part took around an hour. At this rate, we'll have Felspoon done by Halloween!

Given that it's incomplete, I figured I'd give you guys a checklist.

Here's some descriptions, too!

The Entrance of Felspoon
Nobody knows quite when the entrance to Felspoon was created - the city itself is rumoured to be millenia old, and it's said that the entrance had been there since the dawn of time. It's said that it was created by wizards, as was the city, in the days of rocks and stone - they'd used their magical abilities to protect the city from age and decay. The citizens all died centuries ago, but the entrance still stands...

The Grand Hall of Felspoon
Once filled with lush, tamed parks, the Grand Hall became overgrown over the years, until it turned into the wild grasslands you see today. The path, however, has stayed relatively unweeded, and the grand ceiling survives without a scratch. The lack of cave-ins makes it easy to access any part of Felspoon from here.

The Housing Sector of Felspoon
Once inhabited by young and old, rich and poor alike, the Housing Sector of Felspoon is now filled with dozens, if not hundreds, of eerily abandoned houses. The magma lighting still burns away, their light unused by the human eye for centuries, asides from the odd adventurer or two...

The Rail-Tunnels of Felspoon
The vast Rail-Tunnels of Felspoon once took thousands of passengers a day between the underground cities of our world. After centuries of remaining unused, a spontaneous earthquake caused the tunnels to collapse in on themselves, causing any discovery of other cities to be much harder. Undoubtedly, they'll one day be repaired...

Once everything on that list is checked off, we'll be done with Felspoon! I'll be adding more and more images as time goes on, so do keep a watch on this...
