During the Great Creeper Crusade, A once powerful city was crushed and left for ruins, ruled by a brave and desperate King Zarmus. He spread word to the land looking for the most daring and exotic brick masons across the villages to build a castle like no other. One that was unreachable by the Creeper Crusaders, Skeleton Raiders, and Zombie Cannibals. His greed for precious Ores made him rich and wealthy, but his fortune would do him no good getting pressed into atomic squares of rubble by the unruly Creeper Crusaders who live for nothing more than the mere amusement of desecrating everything within range of their explosive fury.

Zarmus meet a shifty wizard who came to his court with Obsidian rope in hand, praising he could Lift a specially built castle high into the great trees in the Elder Forest, suspended by the mystical Obsidian rope he created with years of bending magic inside the Great Expansive Nether. Zarmus was pleased and granted the Wizard’s demands with hoards of Emeralds to build him this mighty structure. Zarmus set out with the wizard and 2,000 brave brick masons and over many days built the Hanging Castle of Elder Forest.

Large enough for a small fortified army, king’s guard, and trusty members of his previous city, they built a self-sustaining utopia high in the trees, where not even the Skeleton Raiders of the Night could reach them with their bows. Keeping much of the living Elder tree original and sturdy, the castle was built like a doughnut and suspended with massive Obsidian cables tied to load baring branches. Inside the tree high above the ground was the Treasure chamber, housing all of King Zarmus’s riches behind thick wood, blast doors, and hardened stone. With only one entrance at the base of the tree, King Zarmus now rests easy at night, knowing only the bats can get into his high chambers and watches the lands below being torn apart by the Creeper Crusade, who have turned the tides of the war in their favor.

How long can King Zarmus hide in his tree for? Only time will tell.
