After 2 years Im finally done with this project, its a remaster of a commission build I made (). This time its available to the public free to download.
Features:
Too many custom made biomes to count (lol)
Bigger and better.
Custom 1.18 style caves and ores.
6144x(256)x6144 map size, made to be played in 5120x5120 area.
Outside of map bounds is endless ocean.
An imbedded resource pack for custom grass and leaf colors.

Survival compatible - I took creative liberty (fences on trees ect) but it should still be fun to play on if you are not dead set on chopping down every single tree on sight for some reason. Also some features are fragile eyes water - dont disturb nature!
Currently the map format is 1.17 since well I started working on this map a while ago, I will look for ways to port into 1.18+ with cave filling under bedrock.

The short story about how I made this:
Spring 2021 I was contacted to make a large map inspired from my 5k map. Since that map was a private commission I decided to redo it and release it to the public. I started with the old WM project from the 5k and heavy modified some things. New mountains, a better volcano, a proper snow system, the delta and the nightmare that was the water works. The result is something that is a far cry from the original 2017 map. Managing that project and studies/research was difficult, especially since I had to make alot of creative decisions once I put things together in worldpainter. Since this was my first big map past 1.12 at the time and my tree repository was showing its age I went and got Chris's (FeH's) trees and modified them to bring them to 1.16 and survival friendly. I had to reschem every. single. tree. (plus some other packs). There are like 300-500 trees I used in this map (a truly ridiculous amount) and I was done with the map by... October. And then it sat in my hard drive for a year and a half (uni life is tough folks). Well I did make renders time to time of the map in order to prepare for its release (and there are still some unfinished renders left). In January I had the bright idea of making a cinematic as a capstone. My main regret is that this is a 1.17 map in the age of extended build height, but sometimes life determines the pace of things, not you. But its done. So now you can look at pretty hills while jamming to Vivaldi and have this world also sit in your hard drive for eternity, your welcome.
To all the terraformers out there, this is my lovechild project, and thanks for commenting as I sporadically shared WIPS and renders. I hope this map becomes one of the legend maps that people link and talk about many years into the future.
