Why does the map makes no sense? If you survive the first island, you can survive the other too (maybe). You have to find the ender pearl on a island and use it to teleport to the next. After you had survived the last island, go to the end and kill the ender dragon. Done. It's only for fun.

So, what is your reason to call it senseless? Maybe I can change something.

Why in there a pickaxe in the chest shouldnt there be an enderpearl.

There are other chests. One chest contains the enderpearl. If you dig down on island 1, you will fall down and see a few platforms. There is the enderpearl-chest. It´s extremely hard to reach but possible.
