Out of frustration he brought his pick down on the rock in front of him. The mine began shaking violently, collapsing in upon itself until Steve found himself lying on the floor of a large cavern. This cavern was not empty, though. It contained... Something, never seen before. It was the Lost City of Mithro. Something that had only existed in legend until now. They had survived underground, growing wood in a special cave. And they had a magnifient mine of diamonds that could yield thousands of blue gems each year. They worshiped the cave god, a magnificent creature. But, one day, they disappeared, never to be seen again, their beacon kept the city from rotting, making it seem like they were only there yesterday.
