Description
The City
The long lost city of Mulandir was built by Isgrimm the Smith, a mage of The Circle, on the remains of a large volcano. The city is welcoming and bright, lit with end rods and built with bright end stone bricks and quartz. The andesite rocks protect it from storms, while the tropical vegetation, consisting of palm trees, lilacs, alliums and ferns, creates an exotic atmosphere. There has lakes, hot springs, three streams that flow directly towards the central platform and an underground river. There are four wings in the city, with the Nexus standing in the center. Inside the Nexus there are archives containing forgotten knowledge, an auditorium, a war room and the core deep below. The core provides all the necessary power to sustain the city. Above the nexus there is an overlook with a beautiful view.
In the Depths
Below the city, however, there are mysterious, unknown places. The underground part of Mulandir can be reached through many chasms, although the fall might be deadly. In this complex system of caves, it is worth to mention an intriguing mushroom cave, a Gollum cave, a palm tree sanctuary, rivers of water and lava, and a labyrinth with a Phoenix Stone at the end. There is even a nether cave, with a strider bathing in the lava and a gate that leads to dangerous realms. One has to crawl in order to reach certain areas of the caves.
Summary
To summarize, Mulandir is a medium-sized city with a complex cave system which I have built all on my own in about 200 hours. Most things, including residential buildings, caves and andesite walls, were built manually. Worldedit helped a bit. The build was based on the city of Mulandir from Spellforce: The Order of Dawn & Spellforce III - the style and the shape is from the latter installment, whereas it being an island with portals is based on the events that happen prior to the events of Spellforce: The Order of Dawn.
The city was built exclusively for a server, therefore it is not available for download.
